So every year there's a free fair here in Franklinton, part of Washington Parish Louisiana. It is the world's largest free fair, or was I'm not entirely sure anymore. They still claim the title so I would assume such is true, but you never know in this day and again. I was considering possibly doing some photography shoots of the place since I'm in a drawing block. I'm a decent photographer, just not as good as some here in DA. There's some great things to photograph in this are too, just never really thought about it until recently. Especially Mile Branch, all the old homes from back in the day which are made of pure wood. They moved these cabins from all parts of Washington parish to this one spot. My family does the Crackling booth in the area. Crackling for those that don't understand is pork rines, but freshly cooked from the pig skins with the fat and skin still left on them. They're like 100% better than pork rines. I mean these people line up for a small bag of these things. Every year there's people all the way back to the entrance waiting to buy some. They're like Crack for the locals since it's the only time we get them.

Anyways I'm debating over possibly doing photographs then submitting them onto DA and see how everyone likes them. It's been quite some time since I've took any pictures, so I'm not entirely sure they'll be great, but I'm going to try my best. I know for damn I'm going to get a picture of the Ferris-wheel lit up at night, that sucker is just beautiful. There's a lot of photos I can get from this place and possibly feel inspired to write or actually draw something as well.
